Go to Italy with the European Voluntary Service and get involved in a volunteering project.

The programme is supported by the Swiss Confederation.

Information Covid19:
At the moment the borders are still closed because of Covid 19. But we hope that the situation can normalize as quickly as possible. The various associations are therefore continuing to do their work to ensure that everyone can benefit from the mobility offers in Europe as soon as the situation returns to normal. There is nothing to stop you from starting to plan your project. In any case, if you are interested, we advise you to contact the Swiss association that is proposing the project and to follow the evolution of the situation with them. Their contacts can be found at the end of the article. Here is the information about the project:

Are you already familiar with the European Voluntary Service? It is an exchange programme financed by the Swiss Confederation that offers all young people aged 18 to 30 the opportunity to volunteer for non-profit associations throughout Europe. The grant covers travel costs, board and lodging, language support, insurance and also provides monthly pocket money.

Thanks to EVS you can leave for 6-12 months from August/September 2020 to Italy and commit yourself to one of the following social projects:

  • Fattoria l'Arca (Calabria): organic farm with animals
  • Centro italiano femminile (Vicopisano, Tuscany): Association that organizes after-school activities for children and non-formal education activities for adults.

If you have any questions, you'll find the contacts in the links above. You will also be able to ask your questions about the current feasibility of the project in relation to the Covid19 situation.
