The Icelandic association Seeds is involved in environmental protection and has been offering short- and long-term voluntary work in Iceland for years. Like many other associations, Seeds has had to adapt to the current situation by offering some of its work camps online.
Workcamp
A workcamp is an international meeting between young people, with the aim of carrying out a volunteer project together. Usually these meetings last 1-2 weeks and are held in English.
Virtual camp Environmentally Aware - Learn from home
The Workcamp proposed by Seeds will take place online with young people connected from all over the world. The theme will be environmental sustainability with workshops on vegan cooking or how to create your own cleaning or personal hygiene products.
The workshop will take place in 2-3 daily sessions from 7th to 16th October 2020 and participation is free of charge. More information and registration (by creating an account) on workcamps.sci.ngo.
