Do you already know the European Voluntary Service? It is an exchange program funded by the European Union that offers all young people from 18 to 30 years old the opportunity to volunteer for non-profit associations throughout Europe. The grant covers the costs of board and lodging, language support, insurance and also provides a monthly pocket money.
If you live abroad and want to come to Switzerland for a year of volunteering at the moment there are the following opportunities:
Ecole Humanité, Hasliberg
The Humanité school is an international residential college. From 1 September, it is possible to volunteer for 11 months at the school in the artistic field.

Heitere Fahne, Wabern
Heitere Fahne is a collective that organizes concerts, cultural events, theater plays,... In every project the inclusive aspect is important, involving people with disabilities, mental health issues or people with a migration background. From September it is possible to do a 12-month volunteer work as a support to the team for the realization of cultural and gastronomic events.

Läbenschule / School of life, Steckborn
The project was launched in 2016 and in 2019 has 37 children enrolled in a kindergarten in the forest or, depending on age, in school classes. From 1 August and for 12 months the school is looking for a volunteer for the various activities with children and young people (4-16 years old).

SCI Switzerland, Bern
SCI Switzerland organizes international voluntary work to promote peace, equality and social justice. From 1 September you can participate as a volunteer and help SCI Switzerland in the organization and management of events and projects.

Gantrisch Nature Parc, Gantrisch
From September/October 2020, the Naturkultur Association offers a volunteer place in the Gantrisch Nature Park. You will help with maintenance and various park related work.
