Get involved in border cooperation projects

Interreg Volunteer Youth (IVY) is an initiative that aims to promote voluntary experiences of cooperation projects between regions. The initiative is supported by the European Commission.

IVY volunteers support European territorial cooperation programmes, also known as Interreg, and thus contribute to the well-being of local populations. If you are between 18 and 30 years old you can participate in the programme and volunteer for 2 to 6 months in different European regions. In return for your commitment you will receive financial support, full insurance and travel expenses.

No special training is required to participate (although in some cases this may help), but specific language skills are often required. In any case, all the necessary information is always specified in the advertisements.
